I just wanted to follow up with you on our conversation yesterday in regards to the vacation I booked at Breezes resort. Although Puerto Plata was beautiful, the resort was not good. I would not recommend that particular resort to anyone. First when we got to the airport, the transfer company that picked us up was waiting but their van broke down. So initially our vacation was delayed waiting on them to fix the vehicle. After we checked in and went to our room, we discovered that our entrance door did not close fully, we had to use the chain lock in order to have the door locked. I went to the front desk to address this issue, and I was told they were booked and nothing was done to assist us.

I just paid for a Spring cruise on I guess what must be our favorite ship I think...Celebrity Century. I should probably say "our favorite ship that does less than 7 days". That is more accurate. Since we moved to Florida, short cruises have been a. something we have time for and b. something we have money for. (No, travel agents don't get all their cruises for free)
Accosted in Limon, Costa Rica, a group of cruisers from the Carnival Liberty fights back and kills a native. Hmm. Maybe those shore excursions NOT through the cruise line are not such a good deal afterall? Here's what Alan Wilson from Cruise News Daily says about it....
